Tempted is a subscription-based creator platform in the OnlyFans mold: fans pay a monthly fee to follow a creator, and creators layer on pay-per-view content, live shows, tips and direct messaging on top. It supports both SFW and adult creators, and its headline selling point is an above-average revenue split. The catch — and it is a big one — is that almost nobody discovers you on Tempted itself. This review is built entirely from Tempted's own support documentation and published third-party creator reviews; we have not tested the platform hands-on.

What Tempted Is (and Who It's For)

Tempted positions itself as a monetization hub rather than a social network. It launched version 1.0 around October 2021 (the tempted.com domain is far older, registered in 1998 and since acquired), and it is reachable via both tempted.com and tempted.fans. Notably, the public homepage is gated behind an SSO login flow, so there is very little marketing surface to browse before signing up — the detailed rules live in a support portal.

• Schedule: weekly, paid every Wednesday. Cash-out requests must be in by Tuesday 23:59 ET; funds typically land Friday to Monday, with direct deposits taking 3-5 business days.
• Minimums: they vary by method — $50 on Paxum, ePayService and Pinguino; $100 (USD or CAD) on US Direct Deposit, CA Direct Deposit and Bitsafe.
• Methods: six in total — Paxum, ePayService, US Direct Deposit, CA Direct Deposit, a Bitsafe eWallet with debit card, and Pinguino (which carries a $5 per-transaction fee).

Weekly payouts with a $50 floor are better than the monthly, higher-threshold schedules some competitors run, and reviewers consistently report that payments arrive correctly with no surprise deductions. On the mechanics of getting paid, Tempted holds up well.

Verification and Content Rules

Verification is mandatory for creators. You must submit a valid government-issued photo ID — passport, national ID card, driver's license, tax ID, voter ID or postal ID — showing your photo, signature, name, date of birth and address (passports are exempt from the address requirement), plus a clear selfie that matches the ID. Student, employee, military, library, handwritten, temporary and photocopied IDs, as well as health cards, are explicitly rejected.

It is worth flagging a discrepancy: several third-party reviewers describe Tempted's identity checks as weak or "inauthentic," yet the platform's own documentation clearly requires a government ID plus a matching selfie. The most likely reading is that reviewers are describing weak enforcement or low trust rather than an absent process.

On content, Tempted allows both SFW and adult material — "with or without nudity." Prohibited categories are the standard hard limits: anything involving minors, non-consensual or forced acts, incest, bestiality, gore, self-harm or suicide content, illegal drugs and visible intoxication, extreme fetishes, hate speech, harassment, and escort or prostitution services. Violations lead to removal and possible suspension or termination.

Creator Tools and the Discovery Problem

The toolset is surprisingly complete for such a small platform. Creators get monthly subscriptions (presets from $4.95 to $29.95, custom pricing from as low as $2.95), pay-per-view videos, galleries and photos priced up to $500, public and private live streaming with tipping, "Virtual Dates" for paid 1:1 experiences, a "Fan+" feature for staying connected to top fans, plus private, broadcast and audio/video messages. Fans can even send content back within a 24-hour window, and there are discounted promo links and flash sales. Tempted also offers a free Academy and marketing-support program for newcomers.

Then comes the wall. Discovery is the platform's defining weakness. There is no meaningful built-in explore or recommendation engine — creators are explicitly told to import their own audience by sharing links on external social media. Multiple independent reviews single out very low on-platform traffic and poor growth as the core problem, and the referral system was actually downgraded from clickable links to QR codes, making off-platform promotion clunkier. There is also no mobile app; the whole experience is web-only.

There is no verified Trustpilot profile for the platform (the pages that surface under "Tempted" belong to unrelated clothing and retail businesses). The signal we do have comes from creator-review blogs, and it is mixed:

• The praise: payments are reliable with no unexpected deductions, onboarding is simple, and the creator dashboard — chat, webcam, webshop, subscriptions, live shows — is easy to use. At least one reviewer noted responsive support.
• The complaints: the dominant, repeated criticism is low traffic and poor audience growth. One detailed review rates Tempted 2/5 and does not recommend it for growth, a sentiment echoed elsewhere. The lack of a mobile app and the absence of anonymous checkout for fans also come up regularly.

No creator or user counts are published, and a domain-safety checker notes a low traffic rank — consistent with the "nobody's here" theme.

How It Compares, and the Verdict

On paper Tempted's 80/20 split and weekly payouts sit right alongside the majors. The difference is reach. OnlyFans and Fansly offer real in-app discovery and network effects; even smaller specialists like FanCentro and LoyalFans lean harder on tools that help you convert and retain fans. Tempted gives you the earning mechanics but leaves the audience-building entirely on your shoulders.

Because of that, Tempted only makes sense as a secondary monetization endpoint for creators who already drive their own traffic — not as a home base and not as a growth engine.
