What is FanCentro — and who is it for?

FanCentro is one of the longer-running names in the paid-fan-platform space. It launched on February 8, 2017, built by Stan Fiskin and Alan Hall of AdultCentro — the team behind ModelCentro, a white-label subscription-site tool. The pitch is familiar if you know OnlyFans or Fansly: fans subscribe monthly, unlock pay-per-view posts, buy clips, tip, and pay for direct messages, while the platform keeps a cut of everything.

Two things distinguish it from the closed-profile model OnlyFans made famous. First, FanCentro has genuine on-site discovery: a browsable creator directory, a Discover section, and a tag-driven Clips feed. Second, clips can be purchased by any visitor with no subscription required, which makes the platform part fan club, part open storefront.

One thing you should know up front: in June 2025 FanCentro migrated to an entirely new site — a transition creators and independent reviewers widely describe as tied to a Pornhub deal — and the move generated sustained complaints through 2026 about missing earnings data, disappeared content and chats, and weeks-long moderation queues. Two notes on those numbers. The 80% share appears to be an improvement: historic third-party sources widely cited a 75% creator share, while FanCentro's current signup page and post-2025 help center both state 80% — so the split seems to have gotten better with the relaunch.

The payout cadence, though, is the platform's clearest structural weakness. Monthly-only payouts with a $100 rolling minimum are slower than the weekly payouts many rival platforms offer, and payouts are withheld entirely if co-performer IDs are missing or the payment beneficiary doesn't match the account holder. For a small or part-time creator, earnings can effectively sit locked up for a month or more.

FanCentro runs a real KYC process. The friction points are real, though. Tips and messages for non-subscribers are priced in an intermediary on-site "coins" currency, which obscures what you are actually spending.
