What OhChat is, and who it's for

The consumer app is an AI-companion service. Fans get multimodal conversations — text, voice notes, images and short video in one continuing chat — with either official licensed "digital twins" of real creators or fictional original characters. The models keep persistent memory and personalize over time, and there's a private roleplay mode with selectable scenarios.

For creators, the pitch is scalability rather than daily posting. You verify your identity, upload training data, and the twin generates content on your behalf — the marketing line is "10x content, not effort." That makes OhChat interesting for established creators who want to monetize a likeness passively, and far less useful for someone building an audience from scratch. Fees and payouts: read the word "net"

OhChat takes a 20% platform fee, so creators keep 80%. That headline is competitive on its face, but per OhFun Terms 3.1 the 80% is of net revenue, defined as receipts minus content-generation/compute costs and third-party processing fees. Your effective take-home therefore sits below 80%, by an amount that depends on compute costs that aren't published.

Payouts are monthly, not daily, and are handled by third-party payment processors in fiat and/or crypto, with USD as the primary currency. There's also a 5% lifetime referral share on creators you onboard, also paid monthly. The real problem is transparency: the exact payout minimum, the precise split mechanics and the likeness terms all live in a private "Creator/Digital Twin Agreement" that isn't published anywhere. A one-off twin/character creation fee is also deducted from earnings before payout, and it's non-refundable. Two further clauses deserve a flag: chargebacks, refunds, fraud or penalties can be set off against present and future earnings with payouts held (Terms 4.6), and Terms 7.2 state that Oh owns the AI-generated outputs, granting the creator only a limited licence. That's a direct tension with the "you own your content, your pricing, and your earnings" marketing.

On safety and consent, OhChat is more rigorous than the vague-terms average. Creators must pass third-party identity and age verification before any training data is uploaded, and licensed-performer likenesses require written agreements plus government-ID review confirming the person is 18+. Fans pass an 18+ age gate. Adult/NSFW content is the core offering and it's marketed as "uncensored," but the important caveat is that all of it is AI-generated: licensed digital twins or fictional characters, not real explicit performances. There's a standard prohibited-content list (no minors, non-consensual acts, trafficking, revenge porn, and so on), automated plus human moderation, and a repeat-infringer policy.
