Fanfix Review 2026

A safe-for-work subscription platform for creators with their own audience: flat 20% fee, no nudity, bank payouts

★★★★★3.4/5By The FansChart Editors · Updated November 2, 2026

Our verdict

Fanfix takes the standard 20%, so creators keep 80% of memberships, messages and locked content, and it is strictly SFW: its Terms of Service ban nudity. The catches are in its own terms: fans paying by credit card are charged a 13% surcharge, Fanfix sets membership prices itself, and promoting OnlyFans or any rival on your Fanfix account can cost $1,000 per ad. It suits SFW creators who bring their own audience; adult creators cannot use it.

In short

  • •Fee: Fanfix keeps 20%; creators receive 80% of memberships, direct messages, locked content and other paid features.
  • •Fans: a 13% surcharge on every credit-card purchase, so a $10 membership costs a card-paying fan $11.30.
  • •Payouts: to your bank. On Fanfix's new payouts system funds typically clear within 5 days, then go out weekly, bi-weekly or monthly; no minimum is published.
  • •Rules: SFW only, with nudity banned; promoting OnlyFans, Patreon, Passes or any rival on your Fanfix account can cost $1,000 per ad.
  • •Best for: SFW creators who already have an audience; adult creators should look elsewhere.

That is the headline, and it is not the whole story. 20% fee, keep 80%; fans pay a 13% surcharge on credit cards. Fanfix's terms are more than one number, so the figure above is its headline share, not what we can promise you keep.

20% fee, keep 80%; fans pay a 13% surcharge on credit cards.

For context: 31 of the 62 platforms here with a headline share on record advertise the same 80%, so the headline rate separates almost nobody. What does separate them is whether they keep to it — on 34 of 72, the real take-home is below the number advertised. See what all 72 would leave you →

Pros

  • ✓Flat 20% fee: creators receive 80% of memberships, direct messages, locked content and other paid features, written into the Creator Terms
  • ✓Strictly SFW and brand-friendly: nudity is banned in the Terms of Service, and Vault uploads have been screened by AI moderation since December 2025
  • ✓Faster payouts on the new system: pending funds typically clear within 5 days, then go to your bank automatically weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
  • ✓A full creator toolkit: tiered memberships, paid DMs and 1:1 video calls, locked message blasts, livestreaming with OBS and multi-streaming, promo codes and post collections
  • ✓Screenshot blocking on content, and you can start earning before payout setup is finished; earnings wait in your balance until your bank details are in
  • ✓Built-in revenue splits for agencies and managers, so a manager's share is paid out by Fanfix rather than invoiced

Cons

  • ✗Fans paying by credit card are charged a 13% surcharge (Payment Terms), so a $10 membership costs them $11.30
  • ✗Fanfix, not the creator, sets membership prices and the minimum price of messages and locked content; creators can only request changes
  • ✗Promoting OnlyFans, Patreon, Passes or any rival on your Fanfix account can cost withheld earnings plus $1,000 in liquidated damages per ad
  • ✗Payouts go to a bank account only, with no published minimum, and the instant withdrawals announced in May 2026 have no published fee or launch date
  • ✗No discovery feed is described anywhere on Fanfix's pages; its growth tool is a paid Clipping Network, from $500 for 100,000 views
  • ✗No adult content at all: the nudity ban rules Fanfix out for adult creators

What Fanfix is (and who it's for)

Fanfix is a subscription platform where creators sell memberships, paid messages and locked content to their fans. Unlike most platforms we review, it is SFW: its Content Guidelines describe a "brand-friendly" environment, and its Terms of Service ban nudity outright. It competes with OnlyFans for a creator's paying fans, not for adult content, and its homepage pitches it to creators who already own their audience.

How we wrote this: every fee, rule and timing below was read from Fanfix's own pages on 2 November 2026: its Creator Terms of Use, Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, Payment Terms and Fan Terms, and its blog at blog.fanfix.io. The pages are listed at the end with their dates. We do not run a Fanfix creator account, so this reviews Fanfix's published terms, not hands-on testing. Where Fanfix publishes no figure, such as a payout minimum, we say so rather than repeat an estimate.

Fees: what Fanfix takes

The Creator Terms are plain about the split: creators receive 80% of what fans pay directly for memberships, direct messages, locked content and Fanfix's other revenue programs, and Fanfix keeps the other 20% of every transaction. That is the same split as OnlyFans and Fansly, so nobody should move to Fanfix for a lower fee. Our OnlyFans fee calculator puts the platforms side by side.

Four more costs are written into Fanfix's own terms:

  • Fans pay a 13% surcharge on credit cards. The Payment Terms add it to every credit-card purchase, so a $10 membership costs a card-paying fan $11.30. The Creator Terms do not say the surcharge is shared with creators: if your 80% is of the $10 price, $8 of the $11.30 reaches you, about 71% of what the fan spent.
  • Fans' banks may add a foreign transaction fee, which the Creator Terms put at typically around 3% and which Fanfix does not control.
  • Refunds can come out of future earnings. Fan payments are final, but Fanfix may refund at its discretion, and if refunds push your balance below zero it recovers the difference from later payments.
  • Earnings can be held or withheld: for a breach of its policies (promoting a rival platform is the first one the terms name), for compliance reasons such as missing tax information, or under a court order.

What that leaves you in a given month is on our Fanfix fees page.

Who sets the prices

This is the clause most unlike OnlyFans. Under the Creator Terms, Fanfix sets membership prices at its sole discretion; a creator can ask for a different price, and Fanfix can accept or refuse. (The older Payment Terms, from 2024, also say a creator may change membership fees with notice to fans.) Fanfix sets the minimum price of a direct message and of locked content too, and you price locked content yourself above that minimum. Fanfix publishes none of these prices or minimums. Memberships can come in tiers, and a fan can prepay three months or more, in which case your share is taken from the whole payment up front.

Payouts: how and when you are paid

Fanfix's pages describe two schedules, and which one applies depends on whether your account is on its new payouts system.

Creator Terms (1 August 2026) New payouts system (1 May 2026)
When About 30 days after the end of each calendar month Pending funds typically clear within 5 days, then automatic payouts weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, as you choose
Paid to Not stated A linked bank account
Minimum Not published Not published
Faster option None named Instant withdrawals for a convenience fee, announced but not dated

The Creator Terms keep the monthly schedule as the default and allow for other schedules Fanfix makes available, which is where the new system fits. Fanfix announced it on 1 May 2026, rolling it out to new creators first and to existing creators in a later phase. Setting it up means accepting the payout terms, filling in your tax information and adding a bank account, all in the Fanfix app. You can earn before that is done: the money waits in your balance, and withdrawals switch on once setup is complete. The dashboard splits your balance into pending and available, with a payout history below.

Two things are announced, not live, as far as Fanfix's blog shows. Instant withdrawals were promised for shortly after the rollout, for a small convenience fee that Fanfix compared to Venmo's; it gave no figure, and no later post on its blog, up to 2 November 2026, says they have launched. Referral earnings would pay you 5% of Fanfix's platform fee on people who sign up with your code.

Fanfix's pages name no payout method other than a bank account; the announcement says international creators get more local banking options. Fan payments are processed by Stripe. If you need a particular method, our payout methods guide lists which platforms pay by PayPal, Paxum, crypto and bank transfer.

Taxes

Fanfix collects tax identification numbers and W-9s (or similar forms), reports them to tax authorities where the law requires, and may deduct and withhold any amount it is legally required to. Paying your income tax is your job, and Fanfix says it will not advise on it. Payout setup asks for your tax information before anything else.

Verification and content rules

You must be at least 18. Fanfix approves creator applications at its discretion and may send you to Persona, its verification partner, to check your age, identity and eligibility before, during and after registration. It publishes no timeframe for approval. Anyone else who appears in your content must have consented, and Fanfix can ask for proof of their age and identity.

The content rules are what make Fanfix different:

  • No nudity. The Terms of Service ban photos, videos and digital content showing sexual intercourse, genitals or close-ups of fully nude buttocks, including a face edited onto a nude or semi-nude body.
  • No sexual services, and no unwanted sexual advances toward other users.
  • No promoting rival platforms. The Creator Terms name Patreon, Passes and OnlyFans, and extend the ban to any other platform where creators sell subscriptions, tips or paid content. Breaking it lets Fanfix withhold or claw back the earnings from that period, and the Terms of Service add liquidated damages of $1,000 for each unauthorized ad, which Fanfix may charge to a payment method you have on file. The terms we read ban promoting a rival on Fanfix; they do not ban having an account elsewhere.
  • AI content must be labelled. AI-generated or AI-assisted content is allowed only with a clear label, it may not use a real person's likeness without consent, and nothing made with AI may be presented as a real person.

Since 8 December 2025, photo and video uploads to the Vault are screened automatically by AI moderation from Hive, and a creator can ask Fanfix to review anything flagged by mistake.

Discovery: how fans find you

None of the Fanfix pages we read describes a feed, explore page or recommendation system that shows creators to new fans, and its homepage is aimed at creators who own their audience. The growth tool Fanfix does offer is paid: the Clipping Network, run with Superclip, where clipper accounts with 25,000 to 5 million followers repost your videos. Its published tiers run from $500 for 100,000 views to $5,000 for 2,000,000 views. Fanfix also advertises a Creator Bonus Program and a Creator Success Team, without published terms for either. In practice, plan to bring your own traffic, as you would on OnlyFans. If built-in discovery matters most, see the platforms with built-in discovery.

The creator toolkit

  • Memberships: recurring, in tiers, with promo codes for discounts and prepaid terms of three months or more.
  • Messaging: paid direct messages, 1:1 video calls through a third-party provider, locked content sent in message blasts, separate automated welcome messages for followers and each tier, and an inbox you can filter by fan list.
  • Livestreaming: in the app or through OBS and Streamlabs, multi-streaming to Twitch or YouTube at the same time, automatic recording to your Vault, and fan moderators for the chat.
  • Running the account: a Vault you can sort by what earned most, post collections fans can filter by, real-time revenue insights, screenshot blocking, and revenue agreements that pay an agency or manager its share directly.

For fans

Fans must be 18 or older. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled; you keep access until the paid period ends, and there are no pro-rata refunds. All payments are final unless Fanfix decides otherwise, and a problem with a charge has to be raised within 30 days. Direct messages are prepaid, and Fanfix does not promise the creator will reply. Its Fan Terms also say some content may be scripted or role-play, and that a creator may use an agency or other people to run the account, so the person you message may not be the creator. The 13% surcharge is on credit cards; the Payment Terms also accept debit cards and bank accounts.

How Fanfix compares

  • Fanfix vs OnlyFans: the same 20% fee. OnlyFans allows adult content and Fanfix does not. OnlyFans creators set their own prices within its caps, while Fanfix sets membership prices itself. OnlyFans has the audience on record, with 377.5 million fan accounts in its filed FY2024 accounts; Fanfix's homepage claims more than 20 million fans and $250 million paid out to creators, figures that are undated and not from filed accounts. Fanfix's terms ban promoting OnlyFans on your Fanfix page, so if you run both, Fanfix is not the place to mention the other.
  • Fanfix vs Fansly: both take 20%. Fansly allows explicit content and runs a For You feed that can surface new creators; Fanfix is SFW and describes no feed. Fansly holds each sale for 7 days and pays from $20; Fanfix's new payouts system clears funds in about 5 days and publishes no minimum.
  • If Fanfix is not the fit: our OnlyFans alternatives ranks every platform we have reviewed, and best platforms by use case narrows the field.

Final word

Fanfix is a clean fit for one kind of creator: SFW, with an audience of their own, who wants memberships and paid messages on a platform with no adult content. The 80/20 split is standard, and the new payouts system is quick once funds clear. The costs are control and reach: Fanfix sets your membership prices, fans paying by credit card pay 13% more, the platform will not find you fans, and it penalises you for pointing them anywhere else. For adult creators it is not an option at all.

Everything above is from Fanfix's own pages, read on 2 November 2026. Each page, with the date it shows:

Fanfix — FAQ

Q. How much does Fanfix take from creators?

Fanfix takes 20%. Its Creator Terms say creators receive 80% of what fans pay directly for memberships, direct messages, locked content and its other revenue programs, and Fanfix keeps the remaining 20% of every transaction. That is the same split as OnlyFans.

Q. Do fans pay extra on Fanfix?

Fans paying by credit card do. Fanfix's Payment Terms add a 13% surcharge to every credit-card purchase, so a $10 membership costs $11.30. The Creator Terms also warn that a fan's bank may add a foreign transaction fee, typically around 3%, which Fanfix does not control.

Q. When does Fanfix pay creators?

Its Creator Terms say about 30 days after the end of each calendar month, or on another schedule Fanfix offers. On the new payouts system it launched on 1 May 2026, new creators first, pending funds typically clear within 5 days and are then paid to your bank automatically every week, two weeks or month, as you choose.

Q. What is Fanfix's payout minimum?

Fanfix does not publish one. Neither its Creator Terms, its Payment Terms nor its payout guides state a minimum withdrawal, so ask Fanfix before you plan around one.

Q. Does Fanfix offer instant withdrawals?

Not yet, as far as its own pages show. Fanfix announced instant withdrawals on 1 May 2026 for a small convenience fee, with no figure, and no later post on its blog up to 2 November 2026 says they have launched. Payouts go to a linked bank account.

Q. Does Fanfix allow nudity or adult content?

No. Fanfix is SFW: its Terms of Service ban content showing sexual intercourse, genitals or close-ups of fully nude buttocks, including a face edited onto a nude body, and its Content Guidelines ban offering sexual services. Uploads to the Vault are also screened by AI moderation.

Q. Can I promote my OnlyFans on Fanfix?

No. The Creator Terms ban promoting Patreon, Passes, OnlyFans or any other monetization platform on your Fanfix account. Fanfix can withhold or recover the earnings from that period, and its Terms of Service set liquidated damages of $1,000 for each unauthorized ad.

Q. Can I set my own prices on Fanfix?

Not fully. The Creator Terms give Fanfix sole discretion over membership prices; creators can request a change, which Fanfix may accept or refuse. Fanfix also sets the minimum price for direct messages and locked content, and you can price locked content above that minimum.

Q. What verification does Fanfix require?

Creators must be at least 18, and Fanfix may ask you to verify your age, identity and eligibility through Persona before, during and after registration. Approval is at Fanfix's discretion, and it publishes no timeframe.

Q. Is Fanfix better than OnlyFans?

For an SFW creator who wants a brand-safe platform, it can be. Both take 20%, but Fanfix bans nudity, sets membership prices itself, adds a 13% surcharge for fans paying by credit card and forbids promoting other platforms. OnlyFans allows adult content and has the larger audience on record: 377.5 million fan accounts in its FY2024 accounts, against Fanfix's own undated claim of more than 20 million fans.
